Appointment Type
Congratulations on taking the next step towards finding your dream wedding dress! To ensure your visit to our boutique is as enjoyable and productive as possible, we've prepared a few guidelines for your upcoming appointment. ALL our appointments are private, serving only one bride at a time. This is a special moment in your wedding planning journey, and we're here to make it memorable and stress free.
Firstly, feel free to bring up to four guests to share in this experience. Whether it's family or friends, their support and feedback can be invaluable as you choose your perfect gown. We do ask that you wear undergarments, and consider a strapless bra to make trying on various gown styles easier. During your appointment, which will last approximately one hour, expect to try on around 5-7 gowns. Don't worry about shoes—we provide a pedestal for you to stand on, but you're welcome to bring heels if you prefer.
We strive to offer exceptional service for every bride-to-be, which includes our appointment policy. To ensure we can offer the best experience for all our brides, we kindly ask for 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to get a bride in, off our wait list.
We can't wait to assist you in finding your dream dress at a dream price! Remember, this is your day, and our goal is to make this experience as seamless and joyful as possible. See you soon!

When preparing for a bridal appointment, especially when the focus is on selecting the perfect veil, it's essential to bring your wedding gown or have a clear idea of its style and color. This advice is not just about practicality; it's about ensuring that the harmony between your gown and veil is seamless, making your bridal look as enchanting as you've dreamed it to be.
A 30-minute appointment might seem brief, but it's ample time to make a decision when you come prepared. Bridal experts recommend that the color of your veil should complement your gown as closely as possible. Since bridal wear can come in a variety of shades beyond the traditional white—such as ivory, champagne, or even blush—having your gown with you can make all the difference. The subtle nuances of fabric and color can significantly impact how well the veil pairs with your dress.
Moreover, the appointment is an opportunity to experiment with different veil lengths and styles, from the dramatic cathedral length to the more understated birdcage veil. Each style can dramatically alter your appearance and the overall vibe of your wedding outfit. Bringing your gown ensures that you can see the complete look together, making it easier to envision how you'll look on your big day. Remember, this appointment is more than just a task to check off your wedding planning list; it's a step closer to realizing your bridal vision.

At our boutique, we are dedicated to offering an exquisite selection of wedding gowns that cater to the dreams of every bride-to-be. Our curated collection is exclusive to gowns that are contemporary and in pristine condition. To ensure the quality and exclusivity of our selection, we have a specific acceptance policy for consignments.
We welcome wedding gowns that are two years old or less, ensuring that our range remains modern and up-to-date with the latest bridal trends. It is essential that these gowns are unworn, unaltered, or are sample gowns, as we aim to provide dresses that are as close to new as possible. Gowns will be inspected for any signs of wear or damage; thus, we only accept dresses that are in very good condition, free from rips, stains, or tears. Please note, we focus exclusively on wedding gowns and do not accept bridesmaid or mother-of-the-bride dresses.
To secure a consignment appointment with us, there is a $25 consignment fee. We understand that plans can change, so if you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and potentially accommodate other clients. Unfortunately, the consignment fee is non-refundable if the appointment is not canceled within the 24-hour timeframe or if there is a failure to show up for the scheduled appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and adherence to our consignment guidelines. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for both our consignors and brides-to-be, ensuring that every gown finds its perfect match. Thank you for considering our boutique for your consignment needs. We look forward to helping you give your beautiful gown a second chance to make someone's special day unforgettable!

Planning your wedding is an exciting journey, filled with moments of anticipation and joy. One of the key steps in ensuring your day goes perfectly is making sure your wedding gown fits like a dream. Slubia is known for her impeccable attention to detail and personalized service, She offers valuable advice for brides-to-be. According to Slubia, scheduling your first alteration appointment should be marked on your calendar for no sooner than 8 weeks before your wedding date. This timing is crucial as it allows for precise adjustments closer to your special day, accommodating any slight changes in body measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
Most brides will require two, sometimes three, fittings to achieve the ideal silhouette. This process is not just about adjustments but about transforming a beautiful dress into one that feels like it was made just for you. At your first appointment, the team at Slubia will provide you with a comprehensive cost breakdown for the alterations. It's important to note that this initial quote covers the agreed-upon work, and any additional requests might incur extra charges. Transparency and clear communication are key, ensuring that both you and the boutique are aligned on the vision for your gown.
To facilitate a smooth and efficient fitting experience, Slubia kindly reminds brides to bring along the undergarments and shoes they plan to wear on their wedding day. This is essential for accurate hemming and to ensure the gown complements your posture and height as you walk down the aisle. Remember, the final payment for alterations is due at your last appointment, marking the completion of a significant step in your wedding preparations. With your gown tailored to perfection, you're one step closer to walking down the aisle with confidence and grace. Slubia looks forward to being a part of your journey to saying "I do."

Preparing for a dress fitting is an exciting step in ensuring your outfit looks perfect for the big day, whether it's a wedding, prom, or any other special occasion. When you bring your undergarments and the shoes you will be wearing with your dress to your first visit, you are taking a crucial step in achieving the best possible fit. The undergarments play a significant role in how a dress lays on your body, affecting everything from the bust line to the shape of the waist and the flow of the skirt. Similarly, the height of your shoes will determine the length of the dress hem, ensuring that it grazes the floor just right, without the risk of tripping or looking too short.
Upon your arrival for your first fitting, Slubia will assess the dress on you, considering the undergarments and shoes you've chosen. This initial fitting is where the magic begins, with pins and markers showing the way toward a perfectly tailored fit. It's at this time that you will receive a final cost estimate for the alterations. This estimate is based on the work deemed necessary during this first assessment, giving you a clear idea of the investment required to make your dress fit like a glove.
Keep in mind, however, that as the fitting process progresses, there may be a need for additional adjustments. Whether it's a little more nip here or a tuck there, these extra touches can make all the difference in achieving the perfect silhouette. Such additional work, naturally, may come with additional costs. Being open to this possibility will help you budget more effectively for alterations, ensuring that you're as prepared as possible for the big day.
