Congratulations on taking the next step towards finding your dream wedding dress! To ensure your visit to our boutique is as enjoyable and productive as possible, we've prepared a few guidelines for your upcoming appointment. ALL our appointments are private, serving only one bride at a time. This is a special moment in your wedding planning journey, and we're here to make it memorable and stress free.
Firstly, feel free to bring up to four guests to share in this experience. Whether it's family or friends, their support and feedback can be invaluable as you choose your perfect gown. Please, NO children under 12 years old. We do ask that you wear undergarments, and consider a strapless bra to make trying on various gown styles easier. During your appointment, which will last approximately one hour, expect to try on around 5-7 gowns. Don't worry about shoes—we provide a pedestal for you to stand on, but you're welcome to bring heels if you prefer.
We strive to offer exceptional service for every bride-to-be, which includes our appointment policy. To ensure we can offer the best experience for all our brides, we kindly ask for 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to get a bride in, off our wait list. The appointment fee will be deducted from the price of your gown, if purchased that day!

Accessories/Veils Shopping

A 30-minute appointment might seem brief, but it's ample time to make a decision when you come prepared. Bridal experts recommend that the color of your veil should complement your gown as closely as possible. Since bridal wear can come in a variety of shades beyond the traditional white—such as ivory, champagne, or even blush—having your gown with you can make all the difference. At our boutique, we are dedicated to offering an exquisite selection of wedding gowns that cater to the dreams of every bride-to-be. Our curated collection is exclusive to gowns that are contemporary and in pristine condition. To ensure the quality and exclusivity of our selection, we have a specific acceptance policy for consignments.
We welcome wedding gowns that are two years old or less, ensuring that our range remains modern and up-to-date with the latest bridal trends. It is essential that these gowns are unworn, unaltered, or are sample gowns, as we aim to provide dresses that are as close to new as possible. Gowns will be inspected for any signs of wear or damage; thus, we only accept dresses that are in very good condition, free from rips, stains, or tears. Please note, we focus exclusively on wedding gowns and do not accept bridesmaid or mother-of-the-bride dresses.
To secure a consignment appointment with us, there is a $25 consignment fee. We understand that plans can change, so if you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to manage our schedule effectively and potentially accommodate other clients. Unfortunately, the consignment fee is non-refundable if the appointment is not canceled within the 24-hour timeframe or if there is a failure to show up for the scheduled appointment.

Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for both our consignors and brides-to-be, ensuring that every gown finds its perfect match. When you bring your undergarments and the shoes you will be wearing with your dress to your first visit, you are taking a crucial step in achieving the best possible fit. The undergarments play a significant role in how a dress lays on your body, affecting everything from the bust line to the shape of the waist and the flow of the skirt. Similarly, the height of your shoes will determine the length of the dress hem, ensuring that it grazes the floor just right, without the risk of tripping or looking too short.
Upon your arrival for your first fitting, Slubia will assess the dress on you, considering the undergarments and shoes you've chosen. This initial fitting is where the magic begins, with pins and markers showing the way toward a perfectly tailored fit. It's at this time that you will receive a final cost estimate for the alterations. This estimate is based on the work deemed necessary during this first assessment, giving you a clear idea of the investment required to make your dress fit like a glove.
Keep in mind, however, that as the fitting process progresses, there may be a need for additional adjustments. Whether it's a little more nip here or a tuck there, these extra touches can make all the difference in achieving the perfect silhouette. Such additional work, naturally, may come with additional costs. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Cherished Bridals! It was the very first place I visited to try on wedding dresses, and I ended up finding the one right there. Their selection is incredible—so many stunning and beautiful dresses to choose from, it truly felt like a dream.

I highly highly recommend considering a visit to Cherished Bridals when shopping for your wedding dress. I came across the store on a Google search and was intrigued by the numerous positive reviews that spoke about the shop owner, Barbara, being lovely to work with and the great prices. As I was just starting out on my wedding dress shopping experience I figured Cherished Bridals would be a great place to start. Little did I know it would also be my last, my one and only wedding dress shopping experience! Upon entering the shop, Barbara greeted my parents and I in a warm and welcoming manner. The store is a small, yet mighty spot! I loved this vibe, as I was not interested in the grander, busier wedding dress store experiences that are common in the NYC area. We were the only customers in the shop, and Barbara did not make us feel rushed at all—allowing us to stay for 2 hours, instead of our allotted 1 hour! At the start, Barbara put me at ease reminding me that wedding dresses are their own breed of fashion and not to get caught up by the sizes or fittings. She assured me that she and her incredible seamstress, Slubia, could make anything work! Barbara then looked at the few inspiration photos I had to share and then worked her magic to find about 8 dresses in the shop that might fit my vision. One of those 8 ended up being THE ONE! Barbara teared up alongside my parents and myself, a sign of how invested she is in her customers’ experience. I also really appreciated how Barbara balanced sharing her thoughts and providing guidance, with allowing my parents and I the time we needed to process this choice and investment. Not only was I able to find the dress of my dreams, but the price tag was unreal! A high end European designer dress for 60% off! Where else can you find that?? When I came back for my two follow up fittings, I had the amazing opportunity to meet with Slubia, the in house seamstress. Slubia’s technical skill was undeniable and her sweet and humble personality was lovely to be around. While I did not end up getting my veil from Cherished Bridals, Barbara and Slubia pointed me in the right direction, providing advice on a style that fit with my vision and price point. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend visiting Cherished Bridals if you’re looking for a wedding dress!

Barbara asked some questions and was able to direct me to pick out some styles based on my preferences. From the try on process to the ultimate decision making - I had her full support. This is was my first bridal shop and the last because I said yes on the first day! The owner made the process fun and very easy! The selection here is abundant with all different styles! I was shocked at how many dresses we got to choose from. Two girls in my bridal party were able to sit, browse, and help me decide. The hardest part was that I loved every dress I tried on, but we with assistance I was able to narrow it down. I highly recommend you stop in if you are in the market for a wedding dress!
